Privacy policy
InvoPanda is a free tool for creating invoices, quotations and credit notes. It is run by an individual based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use invopanda.com. The short version: the documents you create stay in your own browser, and we don't collect or store them.
1. Documents you create
Everything you type into InvoPanda, including your business details, your customers' details, items, prices and your logo, is processed in your browser on your own device. It isn't sent to us, and we don't keep it in a database.
To save you retyping, your current document, your settings and the document numbers you've used are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data for invopanda.com.
2. Share links and QR codes
When you use Share link, the whole document is compressed into the link itself, after the "#" symbol. Browsers never send that part of a link to a website's servers, so we don't receive the document's contents when someone opens the link. The QR code on a document contains the same link.
Please keep in mind:
- Anyone who has the link, or who scans the QR code, can see the document. Share it only with people who should see it.
- If you send a link by email, WhatsApp or another app, that service handles the message under its own privacy policy.
- Don't put information in a document that you wouldn't want the recipient to have.
3. Information collected automatically
Like any website, InvoPanda is delivered to your browser by servers that see basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested:
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes this information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Everything the site needs, including its fonts and the tools that create PDFs and QR codes, is served from invopanda.com itself. Using InvoPanda doesn't make your browser contact any other website, unless you choose to open a link to one, such as WhatsApp.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don't sell or share personal information. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie; we don't set any cookies ourselves.
4. If you contact us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete them when they're no longer needed.
5. Your rights
Because your documents stay on your device, you're always in control of them: you can edit or delete them yourself at any time. Under the UK GDPR, and similar laws elsewhere, you also have rights over any personal information we do hold about you, such as emails you've sent us: you can ask to see it, correct it or delete it. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), or to the regulator where you live.
6. Children
InvoPanda is a business tool and isn't aimed at children under 16.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add new features, for example optional accounts, we'll update this policy before they go live and change the date at the top.
